Columbia River Gorge Scenic Zodiac Tour

Columbia River Gorge Scenic Zodiac Tour

Experience the Spectacular Historic Columbia River Gorge
One of Oregon’s Greatest Natural Attractions!

Climb aboard a genuine, high-performance Zodiac rigid inflatable boat–just like that used by the US Coast Guard and Navy–for an exciting and exhilarating half-day boat ride traversing the mighty Columbia River. The Columbia River Gorge, created thousands of years ago by ice age floods, is now a natural masterpiece. With breathtaking scenery, cliffs reaching over 4000 feet, numerous waterfalls and wildlife, this is a unique place meant to be experienced at least once from water level. Whether you’ve enjoyed the sights previously by land or this is your first visit, you will most certainly walk away with a new appreciation and perspective of this incredibly beautiful and extraordinary region of the Pacific Northwest.

Trip Details

Departing from Chinook Landing Marine Park, just 20 minutes east of downtown Portland, we will cruise over 25 miles from the west end of the Columbia River Gorge canyon to view some of the richest sites in this incredible area: Crown Point, Rooster Rock, Cape Horn, Beacon Rock and several waterfalls, including Multnomah Falls–a 611-foot roaring, awe-inspiring cascade of icy water.

This intensive and exhilarating 3-4 hour tour, with many photo opportunities and fun facts, is locally the only one of its kind. Conditions on this exciting ride-of-a-lifetime may include choppy water and possible spray over the bow, so is perfect for those who are fit and adventurous.
